Why "Independent" Audiologists?
We have no financial links with, and are therefore independent of any of the Hearing Aid companies that supply our products. Independent audiologists have no financial incentives to fit specific hearing aid brands. We fit the hearing aid best suited to our client's needs and hearing loss. Question closely the advice of any audiologist, or hearing aid dispenser, that advertises single brands or appears to have preferred-brand suppliers. They may have financial incentives to supply you with limited brands of product.
All audiologists belonging to the New Zealand Association of Independent Audiologists are fully qualified University-trained hearing health care professionals. We are specialists in hearing aids and diagnostic audiological assessment.
The New Zealand Association of Independent
